Buffalo Pass Loop For Mountain Biking

The 59th most popular mountain bike trail in Colorado.

Heading northeast of Steamboat Springs, the Buffalo Pass Loop is a cool mountain bike ride. Take Buffalo Pass Road north of Steamboat out of Strawberry Park. It is signed as FDR 60. Follow to the top of the Buffalo Pass. Turn south on FDR 310 and follow for about 1.5 miles to trail head #1101. Park here. Take trail #1101 south for approximately 5.5 miles to Round Lake. From Round Lake take trail # 1102 west for about 1 mile to Long Lake. At the east end of Long Lake, FDR #310 connects with the trail. Turn right at this intersection and head back to trailhead #1101 to complete the loop. About 10.5 miles.

Overall, Buffalo Pass Loop is the 59th most popular mountain bike trail of all 175 mountain biking rides in Colorado.
