Located south of Ocala, the Santos Bike Trails East is a 40 mile maze of trails twisting and winding through hundreds of acres. These routes were hand-built for biking by the Ocala Mountain Bike Association and are blazed with colors for level of difficulty (red for hard, blue for medium and yellow for easy).
To reach the trailhead from Ocala, head south on US441 to Santos. Turn right heading west on S.E. 80th Street briefly to trailhead. Or, off 1-75 take exit 67 (Don Garlits Museum), head east on 484 and take 475 north then turn east onto 80th. The Santos trailhead parking lot and facilities are on the right just before you get to 441.
Overall, Santos Bike Trails is the 1st most popular mountain bike trail of all 58 mountain biking rides in Florida.
