Belle Meade Trail For Mountain Biking

East of Naples, the Belle Meade Trail is a 22 mile mountain bike route through the 69,975 acre Picayune Strand State Forest. The very sandy trails are over rolling terrain. Watch out for black bear and panther.

Overnight camping is permitted by reservation, day riding is allowed at anytime.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Naples, head north on US75 to Exit 111. Head east 9 miles on Immokalee Rd. (CR 846.) Turn right on Randall Blvd. and continue east for 4 miles. Turn right on Everglades Blvd. and drive south 8 miles, pass over I-75 (no exit). Go another 3/4 mile to 4-way stop. Turn right (west) on 52nd Av. SE. Go 1 mile. Trailhead and camping area is on right.

Overall, Belle Meade Trail is the 28th most popular mountain bike trail of all 58 mountain biking rides in Florida. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Belle Meade Trail including Fakahatchee-Strand State Preserve and Collier-Seminole State Park.
