Gar Pond Mountain Biking

North of Lake City and just south of White Spings, the Gar Pond Trail is a sandy 8 mile loop on single and double track winding through cypress. To reach mountain biking at the trailheadfrom Lake City, follow US75 north to SR136 and head east into White Springs. Turn right heading south on US41 and continue for two miles just across river to parking lot on the right. Keep alert for gatorbacks on the trail.

Try nearby Bridge-To-Bridge Trail (4.5 miles) located just north off US41 on the other side of the bridge, or try across the street from Gar Pond on the Little Shoals Trail (2.5 mi).
