Northwest of West Palm Beach, the 400 acre Dyer Park has a 7.1 mile maze of trails open to mountain bikers on this old landfill. The slightly rolling routes have some rooty sections with nice cutbacks. There is a 4.7 mile singletrack perimeter trail and a 2.4 mile singletrack on the hill covering an old landfill.
To reach the trailhead from West Palm Beach, head north on US95 to 45th St. Follow 45th west and turn right on Haverhill Road. Dyer Park is on the left. Or follow US95 to Blue Herion westbound. Proceed north on the Bee Line freeway to Haverhill Road. Continue to Dyer Park entrance.
Overall, Dyer Park is the 29th most popular mountain bike trail of all 58 mountain biking rides in Florida. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Dyer Park including Oleta River State Park, Markham Park, Eagles View Multi-Use Trail System, Everglade National Park and Fort Pierce Bike Trail.
