Little River Trail For Mountain Biking

The 2nd most popular mountain bike trail in Georgia.

North of Atlanta and Woodstock east of Allatoona Lake, the Little River Trail is a 15 mile network of mountain bike trails along both sides of the river. There are 3 sections to the network of out-and-back trails. Each is shared by hikers, bikers and an occasional ATV mountain bike rider. The red-clay tread can be soft and sticky when wet, and the summer time can be hot and humid.

To reach the trailhead, follow US75 north to US575 north. Use Exit 11 and turn left on Sixes Road for two miles to trailhead parking.

While in the area, check out Allatoona Lake shoreline trails.

Overall, Little River Trail is the 2nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 20 mountain biking rides in Georgia.
