Bear Creek/Palisades Trail For Mountain Biking

Located in the Palisades Ranger District of the Caribou - Targhee National Forest, the Bear Creek trail provides access to a network of well-maintained single track trails. A variety of loop mountain bike rides are possible through various trail connections. One can easily connect to the extensive trail network in the adjacent Fall Creek drainage. Elevation gains are approx 2500 feet to the ridgetops. Excellent ridge riding is found on Red Ridge and Deadhorse Ridge. Fishing is good in Bear Creek.
