The Warm Springs Trail (#147) stretches from NFS Bull Trout Lake C.G. to NFS Bonneville C.G. The Warm Springs Trail mountain bikes up 2,100 feet overall. For a two day out-and-back trip, grab a campsite at Bonneville first (like site #12) before starting at Bull Trout. The trail passes through a narrow canyon following Deadman Creek and Warm Springs Creek. Steep sections offer nice views. The trail can be narrow with sheer drops to the valley floor and passes through Douglas Fir forests. Bull Trout Lake is located off FS520 roughly 24 miles north of Stanley on SR21. There are relaxing hot springs awaiting at Bonneville.
