Fish Creek Meadows For Mountain Biking

The 43rd most popular mountain bike trail in Idaho.

South of Grangeville in the Nez Perce National Forest, the Fish Creek Meadows area has several stacked loops for mountain biking. The trails provide outstanding vistas of the surrounding forest including Pilot Rock to the east, Buffalo Hump to the southeast, and the Gospel Mountains to the south. The trail system is maintained for cross-country skiing in the winter.

To reach the Fish Creek Meadows trailhead from Grangeville, head south on Grangeville-Salmon Road (FS221) for 8 miles. Parking is available at the NFS Fish Creek Campground.

To reach the trailhead from the intersection of SR 13 and Mount Idaho Rd. (NFD 221), go south on Mount Idaho Rd. for 7.5 miles. The road will change names to Salmon Road, and then Fish Creek Road. Park on the right.

Overall, Fish Creek Meadows is the 43rd most popular mountain bike trail of all 63 mountain biking rides in Idaho.
