Northeast of Wallace near Burke, the Glidden Creek Trail (#701 / 12.5 mi. / 2700) is a singletrack through a cedar-hemlock forest by alpine lakes offering magnificent vistas into both Montana and Washington. To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Wallace, follow SR4 northeast for 6 miles into Burke. Turn onto FS7623 for another six miles to a parking area at Cooper Pass. Also, check out both the Lightning Loop (47 mi.) and Snow Loop (33.5 mi.)

Overall, Glidden Creek Trail is the 19th most popular mountain bike trail of all 63 mountain biking rides in Idaho.
