Ten Mile Ridge Trail For Mountain Biking

West of Stanley and east of Lowman in the Boise National Forest, the Ten Mile Ridge Trail offers panoramic views of the Sawtooths.

The mountain bike trailhead is located east of Lowman at NFS Bonneville Campground.

Start riding northeast up SR21 for 2.2 miles. Turn right heading east on FS524 for 4.6 miles. Turn right heading south up the Wapiti Creek Trail (#160) for 7 miles. Turn right heading west on the Ten Mile Ridge Trail (#157) for 4.4 miles. Turn right heading north on the Blue Jay Creek Trail (#149) for 5 miles back to SR21. Turn right and head north on SR21 for 1.2 miles.

Overall, Ten Mile Ridge Trail is the 17th most popular mountain bike trail of all 63 mountain biking rides in Idaho. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Ten Mile Ridge Trail including Warm Springs Trail, Nip and Tuck Trail, Elk Meadows Loop Trail, Backcountry Hot Springs, Fisher Creek / Williams Creek Loop and Headwaters of the SalmonWarm Springs Creek Trail.
