Curran Gulch Loop Trail For Mountain Biking

South of Sun Valley, the Curran Gulch Loop is an 8 mile mountain bike route climbing 1,500 feet.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Ketchum, head south on SR75 for 9 miles. Turn right heading west on Deer Creek Road (FS97) for 10 miles. Park near the corral at the main fork of the Deer Creek Trailhead.
Continue west on Deer Creek Road for 2 miles. Turn left heading south on Curran Gulch Trail climbing up into the trees for 2 miles. Turn left heading east to the Kinsey Summit and on to the Wolftone Trail. This trail leads to Kinsey Creek and to dirt roads leading back north to the trailhead.
Overall, Curran Gulch Loop Trail is the 30th most popular mountain bike trail of all 63 mountain biking rides in Idaho.
