South of Topeka near Overbrook in 110 Mile Park, the Black Hawk Trail is a 20 mile route near Pomona Lake through mature native vegitation, creeks and open praire. To reach mountain biking at the trailhead, head south from Overbrook on highway for seven miles and proceed west following 110 Mile Park signs.

Overall, Black Hawk Trail is the 5th most popular mountain bike trail of all 10 mountain biking rides in Kansas. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Black Hawk Trail including Clinton State Park and Perry Lake Trail.
