Clinton State Park For Mountain Biking

The 2nd most popular mountain bike trail in Kansas.

Southeast of Topeka and southwest of Lawerence in Clinton State Park, the Lake Clinton North Shore Trail system has two mountain bike trails totaling 25 miles. There is an easy blue route and a difficult white route with steep climbs and rocky stream crossings. These North Shore trails are only open to hikers and mountain bikers.

To reach the trailhead from Lawrence, follow SR10 west to CR13. Turn right and then take first left into the park. Parking is off the gravel road on the right.

Overall, Clinton State Park is the 2nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 10 mountain biking rides in Kansas. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Clinton State Park including Black Hawk Trail and Perry Lake Trail.
