On the Upper Peninsula east of Munising, the Seney National Wildlife Refuge within the LSSF offers 80 miles of mountain bike trails.

Overall, Seney Refuge is the 12th most popular mountain bike trail of all 37 mountain biking rides in Michigan. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Seney Refuge including Brunos Run, Grand Island, North Country Trail, Pine Marten Run Trail, Valley Spur Mountain Bike Route and Fox River Pathway.
