On the Upper Peninsula south of Marenisco, the Pomeroy / Henry Lake Mountain Bike Complex is made up of 100 miles of gravel roads of mostly beginner riding with a few moderate hills. The trails pass a variety of lake ecosystems on loops of 7 to 16 miles.
To reach the trailhead from Wakefield, head east on US2 for 7 miles to the NFS Campground sign. Turn south at this point to the trailhead.
Or, the Henry Lake and Pomeroy Lake Complex can be accessed south of Marenisco from Forest Roads #8100 or #8300.
