Located west of Silver City off SR107, the 60,000 acre Porcupine Mountain State Park has 85 miles of mountain bike trails through virgin forests. Keep a sharp eye out for secluded lakes, bears, bald eagles, and waterfalls. Check out the routes to Mirror Lake and the 16 mile Lake Superior Trail. Check with land managers with regards to the present status of themountain bike route to Mirror Lake -- there have been reports that this is within a wilderness area.

Directions: From Ontonagon head west on Hwy 64 to CR 107. Park headquarters is on the left.

Overall, Porcupine Mountain State Park is the 10th most popular mountain bike trail of all 37 mountain biking rides in Michigan.
