Laurentian Trail For Mountain Biking

The 18th most popular mountain bike trail in Minnesota.

Northeast of Virginia and Biwabik in the Superior National Forest, the 5.2 mile Laurentian Trail is a rolling mountain biking double track located near the Silver Trail in the Giants Ridge Recreation Area. The route flows through rich aspen and pine forests.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Biwabik, head east on SR135 for 1.5 miles. Proceed north on CR138 for three miles into the GRRA on the left.

Overall, Laurentian Trail is the 18th most popular mountain bike trail of all 31 mountain biking rides in Minnesota.
