CDT - Chief Joseph Pass to Big Hole Pass For Mountain Biking
The 5th most popular mountain bike trail in Montana.

West of Wisdom in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, this section of the Continental Divide Trail is a 13.5 mile one-way route that combines FS081 (Anderson Mountain Road) and singletrack starting six miles in at the base of Anderson Mountain. The road is relatively untraveled due to roughness. Off the first three miles are numerous singletrack spurs from the cross country ski trails based at Chief Joseph Pass.
The trailhead parking located one mile east on SR43 from SR93.
To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Missoula, go south on US 93 for 95 miles. Turn left (east) on SR 43. Go 1 mile to Chief Joseph Pass.
Overall, CDT - Chief Joseph Pass to Big Hole Pass is the 5th most popular mountain bike trail of all 32 mountain biking rides in Montana.
