East Foothill Trail For Mountain Biking

Near Condon south of Kalispell in the Flathead National Forest, the East Foothill Trail (#92) is a great 6 mile one-way route on the western flank of the Swan Mountain Range. The north trailhead is at the Cooney Lookout on FS560 and the southern trailhead is at Holland Lake on FS44. To reach mountain biking at the southern trailhead from Kalispell, head south on SR 83 to Condon. Turn left on FS44 heading east to the end.

While in the area, also check out the Holland Gordon Trail (#35) up to Upper Holland Lake via the East Holland Lake Connector Trail (#415).

Overall, East Foothill Trail is the 21st most popular mountain bike trail of all 32 mountain biking rides in Montana.
