East of Plymouth, the Waterville Valley is nestled into the south-central White Mountain National Forest. Check out the gnarly Brown Ash, and Swamp trails. The Dickey Notch Trail starts off SR49 north of Sandwich Notch Road and can be used to loop Dicky Mountain (25 mi.). The mountain bike ride along Sandwich Notch Road can be rewarding due to the numerous singletracks which branch off. The 16 mile mountain bike ride to Flat Mountain Pond at the Guinea Pond trailhead is a challenge with nasty gullies and steep climbs.

Overall, Waterville Valley is the 6th most popular mountain bike trail of all 24 mountain biking rides in New Hampshire.
