The Hastings Trail provides a possible loop mountain bike ride beginning at the State line on US Rte #2 and following the trail to the swinging bridge at Hastings. Cross the bridge and head north on Rte #113 to Gilead, Me then west on Rte #2 to the parking area. Total distance of this loop is approximately 6.8 Miles. CAUTION: Route #113 does not have paved shoulders to mountain bike ride on -- Watch for traffic.

Overall, Hastings Trail is the 9th most popular mountain bike trail of all 24 mountain biking rides in New Hampshire. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Hastings Trail including Nanamacomuck Trail, Rob Brook Trails and North Conway Trails.
