North of Newark and east of Vernon in Sussex County, the Wawayanda State Park has 21 miles of dirt mountain bike trails. The rolling routes offer nice views of mountains and valleys.

The main park entrance is off Warwick Turnpike (aka Moe Road), which is south of Warwick, New York, off SR94.

Overall, Wawayanda State Park is the 5th most popular mountain bike trail of all 24 mountain biking rides in New Jersey.
