Allegheny National Recreation Area For Mountain Biking

In the Allegheny National Recreation Area, there is an excellent mountain biking loop. It combines the following trails and roads: Tanbark Trail northwest -> US 62 north -> old railroad grade up Hedgehog Run east -> FS573 east -> SR3005 south -> FS437 east -> FS536 south -> SR2002 west back to camp.

Overall, Allegheny National Recreation Area is the 22nd most popular mountain bike trail of all 75 mountain biking rides in Pennsylvania. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Allegheny National Recreation Area including Cherry Grove, Minister Creek Valley West, Bear Creek Loop, Grand Tour, Salmon Creek Loop and Buzzard Swamp LoopHasting Run to Tionesta Creek.
