Located near Columbia, there are more than 20 miles of singletrack in the 2,200 acre Harbison State Forest. The Harbison Loop (9.2 mi.) is a well-marked, challenging singletrack with creek crossings and views of the Broad River. To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Columbia, follow US26 west toward Spartanburg. Exit at #104 and head right onto Piney Grove Road. Shortly, take a left onto Piney Woods Road and then take a right onto Broad River Road. Look for entrance to BSF on left.

Overall, Harbison State Forest is the 6th most popular mountain bike trail of all 16 mountain biking rides in South Carolina.
