Willis Creek For Mountain Biking

The 24th most popular mountain bike trail in Utah.

South of Cannonville in the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument, a cool mountain bike ride is up Willis Creek with shallow cascades through a meandering formation of Navajo Sandstone walls in and out of slot canyons up to 40 feet high. The route is impassible in the spring and during storms.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Cannonville, head south on Cottonwood Canyon Road (FS400). Turn right on Skutumpah Road heading south for about 6 miles.

Overall, Willis Creek is the 24th most popular mountain bike trail of all 73 mountain biking rides in Utah.
