Southeast of Price in the Manti-LaSal National Forest, the Petes Hole / Josephite Point Trail is a 28 mile mountain biking route in the Manti-Lasal National Forest.
To reach mountain biking at the Pete Hole trailhead for the Josephite Point Trail from Orangeville, follow SR29 to Joes Valley Reservoir. At the west side of the reservoir, the road becomes dirt (difficult when wet). Continue another 8 miles to Petes Hole Road (FS005). Turn south on Petes Hole Road for 2 miles to Petes Hole. The trailhead is on the southeast side of this reservoir.
The Josephite Point Trail section is relatively flat and traverses Josephite Point Bench for 7.5 miles at 9,000 ft.
Overall, Petes Hole / Josephite Point Trail is the 27th most popular mountain bike trail of all 74 mountain biking rides in Utah.
