Seven Sisters Trail For Mountain Biking

The 4th most popular mountain bike trail in Virginia.

Located 7 miles northwest of Wytheville in the Jefferson National Forest, the Seven Sisters Trail runs 5 miles along the Little Walker Mountain ridge past old growth whitepine and rhododendron. A nice mountain biking loop starts from the hiker parking area and leads to NFS Stoney Creek Campground. When it crosses SR717, head east 2.5 miles back to trailhead.

To reach the mountain biking trailhead from Wytheville, follow US77 north to exit #47. Head west on SR717 for 1 miles to the trailhead parking.

Overall, Seven Sisters Trail is the 4th most popular mountain bike trail of all 27 mountain biking rides in Virginia. Several of the better mountain bike trails are nearby Seven Sisters Trail including Dragons Back Trail, Channel / Crawfish Rock Trails, Tract Fork Trail and Laurel Fork Trail.
