Near Davis in the Monongahela National Forest, the Stony River Reservoir Loop is ideal for mountain biking. Start at north tip of FS75 (at the top of the harpin descent) -> head west on jeep trail for one mile -> proceed northwest on jeep trail for five miles to six trail junction -> head east down to reservoir (two possible routes around water) -> from road east of dam, pick up jeep trail heading south to FS75 -> go vertical. Dont forget to warm up the night before with a mountain bike trek up to Blackbird Knob
