The 220,000 acre Northern Highlands State Forest has 42 miles of converted cross-country ski trails open to summer mountain biking along the Razorback Ridge. The best route is the 8 mile Long Rider Loop through deep maple, birch and pine forests. The trailhead is located two miles west of Sayner.

Overall, Razorback Ridge Trails is the 6th most popular mountain bike trail of all 20 mountain biking rides in Wisconsin.
