Near Helmsey, there are many Yorkshire bridleways to explore through wild open hills and scenic dales along with plenty of drystone walls. They are open to mountain biking.
To reach Helmsley, follow the A1 to A168. In Thirsk, turn onto the A170 towards Scarborough.
