Southeast of Oklahoma City, the Crosstimbers Riding Area has miles of sandy trails winding through forest and around the lake. A permit is required for all riders and passengers. Permits are available at the Lake Draper Marina & AJAX Kawasaki.
The Stillwater Cycle Park has 500 acres open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. The routes are over red clay, which is quite slippery when wet. With over 500 acres of available riding area for motorcycles. Terrain is mostly red clay, which is slippery when raining, and plain dirt. Dirt biking at Stillwater requires an annual permit.
Northwest of Oklahoma City and south of Waynoka, the 1500 acre Little Sahara State Park has amazing sand dunes for off-road motorcycle trails riding. This is the largest dune riding area in the state. To the west and northwest are the largest dunes, offering fantastic views, especially of sunsets with the Glass Mountains in the distance. In the middle there are cottonwood trees, yucca plants and stands of tall grass that form trails.
South of Oklahoma City and west of Davis in the Arbuckle Mountains, the Cross Bar Ranch has a 6,500 area motorcycle off-road area. The Cross Bar Ranch ATV/Motorcycle Off-Road Area has diverse terrain featuring cedar covered hills, hardwood slopes and valleys and crystal clear creeks and springs. The elevation changes range for gentle slopes to extreme changes of 500 feet or more.
