Flint Creek Dirt Bike Trail For Dirt Biking
The 3rd most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Alabama.

Southwest of Huntsville and south of Danville, the Flint Creek Multi Use Trail has two loops totaling 16 miles. The white-blaze Loop A is 11 miles. The red-blazed Loop B is 5 miles. These multi-use trails are open to hikers, bikers, off-road motorcycle riders and equestrians. There is heavy ATV use on the weekends.
To reach the trailhead from Danville, head south on Danville Road (CR41) for about 4 miles. At the top of the hill near Cave Spring Cemetery, turn right heading west on FS249 for 5 to 6 miles. Pass the intersection with FS 268. The parking area will be on the right.
To reach the trailhead from US65 Exit 310: Head north on SR157 for about 22 miles to SR36. Follow SR36 to 4 way stop at Speake School. Turn left onto county road for 2.5 miles. This road will turn to gravel and head up the mountain where it becomes FS268. Continue for 4 miles to intersection with FS249. The parking is on the right.
To reach the trailhead from US65 Exit 308: Head west on SR278. At Addison, head north on SR41 for 11 miles. Turn west on FS249 for 6 miels. The parking is on the right.
There is a trail use fee payable at the trailhead.
Overall, Flint Creek Dirt Bike Trail is the 3rd most popular dirt bike trail of all 17 dirt biking rides in Alabama.
