Pinochle Creek Trail - Hicks Creek For Dirt Biking

The 9th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Alaska.

East of Sutton, the Pinochle Creek Trail (Hicks Creek) is a 16.5 mile route open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. The route follows the Hicks Creek to Hicks Lake. From there, it continues on to Caribou Creek. There is about 2,700 feet of elevation gain along the way.

To reach the trailhead from Sutton, head east on SR 1 (Glenn Highway) for 38 miles. The trail is on the north side of the road.

Overall, Pinochle Creek Trail - Hicks Creek is the 9th most popular dirt bike trail of all 20 dirt biking rides in Alaska.
