Belanger Pass Trail For Dirt Biking

The 11th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Alaska.

Northeast of Anchorage and Sutton, the Belanger Pass Trail is a 13 mile dirt biking route around the Syncline Mountains and up through Belanger Pass to the confluence of the Alfred and Flume Creek. Watch out on stream crossings for high water levels.

The trailhead is located 60 miles northeast of Sutton on SR1 (Glenn Highway).

From the trailhead, the route heads north; at 1.5 miles the Squaw Creek Trail branches off to the west; at approximately 2 miles the Crooked Creek Trail branches off to the east. The Belanger Pass Trail continues northwest for another five miles until intersecting the Alfred Creek Trail. Come back the way you came.

Overall, Belanger Pass Trail is the 11th most popular dirt bike trail of all 20 dirt biking rides in Alaska.
