Moose Creek Bluff Trail For Dirt Biking

The 2nd most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Alaska.

Near Fairbanks and North Pole, the Moose Creek Bluff trails is a 10 mile dirt biking trail. Start at the bottom of the bluff and follow the service road to the top. At the high point, there is a magnificient view of the Alaska range. From there, The trail turns into ATV trail, follow that to the very top past the tower. Watch for side trails, you will find something new every time you go out there.

To reach the dirt biking on the Moose Creek Bluff ATV Trail from Fairbanks, go through North Pole on the Richardson, pass over the Chena Flood channel and 1/2 mile after the bridge on your left you will see the bluff. Park there next to RR tracks.

Note: this trail is on Army Corps of Engineers property. Check with the Corps for current usage restrictions. At last check, they only permitted riding while the ground is frozen from Nov to March.

Overall, Moose Creek Bluff Trail is the 2nd most popular dirt bike trail of all 20 dirt biking rides in Alaska. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Moose Creek Bluff Trail including Windy Creek Trail, Colorado Creek Riding Trail, Quartz Creek Trail and Trail Creek Trail.
