Northeast of Flagstaff in the Coconino National Forest, the 13,500 acre Cinder Hills Area combines singletrack with open riding for 19 miles of off-road motorcycle trails riding. Get ready for big hill climbs. The routes traverse an extensive area of deep volcanic cinders in a ponderosa pine forest.

To reach the dirt biking at Cinder Hills Area from Flagstaff, head north on US89. Approximately 3/4 mile past milepost 426, turn east on Forest Service Road 776 and follow the signs.

Note: Only licensed vehicles are permitted on FS776 and FS777.
