Northwest of Phoenix, the Crown King area is very popular with off-road motorcycle riders. The Crown King area offers trail riding through pine forest in the Bradshaw Mountains.

To reach the dirt biking in the Crown King area from Phoenix, head north on US17 to Exit 248. Head west through Bubble Bee and Cleator on CR59 for 27 miles to the trailhead.

Overall, Crown King Riding Area is the 4th most popular dirt bike trail of all 46 dirt biking rides in Arizona. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Crown King Riding Area including Alto Pit Riding Area, Mingus Mountain ORV Loop, Sheridan Mountain / Smith Mesa, Tonto Wash ORV Trail, Old Military Trail, Hayfield Draw - Bryant Park ORV Area and Seven Mile Gulch Trail.
