Fordyce Creek Trail For Dirt Biking

The 60th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in California.

In the Tahoe National Forest, the Fordyce Creek Trail is a 10 mile route open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. It is known as one of the three routes used for the annual Sierra Trek. There are several deep water crossings and steep climbs. The route leads to Summit City at Meadow Lake.

Location: The trail begins near Eagle Lakes. Take Interstate 80 to Eagle Lakes Road. Follow Eagles lake road on the East bound side of freeway. Follow the Eagle Lakes signs about 3 miles from the Interstate and on your right hand side you will find the Fordyce Creek trail head. It should have a sign labeled OHV route.

Overall, Fordyce Creek Trail is the 60th most popular dirt bike trail of all 120 dirt biking rides in California.
