Lark Canyon OHV Area For Dirt Biking

Southeast of San Diego, the Lark Canyon OHV Area has several miles of off-road motorcycle trails. Located in McCain Valley Resource Conservation Area, Lark Canyon OHV Area is designed specifically for motorcycles. All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) might experience difficulty using the narrow trails.

Several miles of trails are located in the OHV area. The Wounded Knee Trail is a challenging ride that rewards riders with views of McCain Valley and surrounding area. All of the trails in the OHV area are signed.

To reach the trailhead from San Diego, head east on US8 70 miles to the Boulevard exit. The ORV Area is located 5.3 miles up McCain Valley Road on the left side.

Overall, Lark Canyon OHV Area is the 23rd most popular dirt bike trail of all 120 dirt biking rides in California.
