North Delta ORV Area For Dirt Biking

Northeast of Delta, the North Delta OHV Area has 9,000 acres of rolling adobe badland hills open to dirt biking. This barren area can become a quite slick and muddy after rainfall.
To reach the dirt biking trailhead for the North Delta OHV Area from Delta, head north on US50 to the Gunnison River Bridge. Continue for 0.5 miles. Veer right continuing north on Road 1575 for another 0.75 miles. Turn right on Road I for 2.5 miles to the unsigned OHV trailhead area on the left.
Note: Colorado residents must register their off-highway vehicle with the Colorado State Parks (303) 866-3437. Non-residents are not required to register in Colorado, if they are registered in their home states. All off-highway vehicles must have an approved muffler and spark arrester. These requirements are subject to change so make sure to contact the Colorado State Parks prior to using your off-highway vehicle.
