Long Hollow Motorized Trail For Dirt Biking
The 13th most popular offroad motorcycle trail in Colorado.

West of Castle Rock in the Rampart Range area, the Long Hollow Motorized Trail (#650) is a 5.5 mile route open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. It leads 5.5 miles south from Noodle Trail, #677, to Long Hollow Road. This trail receives an intermediate rating and gets low use. It can be ridden as a loop trail in combination with Trout Creek Trail, #649.
To reach the trailhead, travel 18 miles south on Rampart Range Road to Forest Road 348, a 4WD road; and then drive 4 miles south on 348 to the trailhead.
Camping on the Rampart Range comes in several forms. The developed campgrounds at Indian Creek, Flat Rocks, Devil's Head, and Jackson Creek provide restrooms, drinking water, graded sites, as well as trash service.
To reach the Rampart Range area from Denver, Santa Fe (Hwy 85) south at Sedalia, take State Hwy. 67 West approximately ten miles to the Forest Service Indian Creek Work Center (Rampart Range Road (top of hill)). Rampart Range road is marked with a sign at the top of the hill, on the north side is the Forest Service Indian Creek Work Center. The road begins here and runs south to Colorado springs (Rampart Range is not open to un licensed vehicles). Past Rampart Range road about three miles is the Sprucewood bar (you have gone to far) stop here for directions, they also have area maps. Along the road you will find several place sto park or camp.
Persons approaching from the south may take Rampart Range Road from Woodland Park, or Hwy. 67 from Deckers.
Note: Colorado residents must register their off-highway vehicle with the Colorado State Parks (303) 866-3437. Non-residents are not required to register in Colorado, if they are registered in their home states. All off-highway vehicles must have an approved muffler and spark arrester. These requirements are subject to change so make sure to contact the Colorado State Parks prior to using your off-highway vehicle.
