East of Chatsworth and southeast of Eton in the Chattahoochee National Forest, the Rock Creek ATV Trail is a 5 mile ORV trail. This is a loop trail that offers a challenging riding experience through scenic terrain. The route is through mixed oak and hickory forests, and also connects up with the Tatum Lead ORV Trail.
To reach the dirt biking at the trail head from Chatsworth, head east on SR52/SR2 for 1 mile. Turn right on Old Federal Road for 4 miles. Turn left on Peeples Lake Road (FS3) for 5.9 miles to the trailhead. Note: the road to the trailhead is subject to washouts and has high berms which may cause trailer drag -- not recommended for long trailers.
Overall, Rock Creek ORV Trail is the 14th most popular dirt bike trail of all 25 dirt biking rides in Georgia. Several of the better dirt bike trails are nearby Rock Creek ORV Trail including Amicalola Falls ATV Trail, Locust Stake ATV Area, Oakey Mountain ORV Trail, Beasley Knob ORV Trail, Whissenhant ORV Trail and Houston Valley ORV Area.
