North of Boise and northeast of Smiths Ferry in the Boise National Forest, the East Mountain Way (#099) is a 16.5 mile route open to off-road motorcycle trails riding.

East Mountain Loop trail is a 32 mile long multi-purpose trail used by mountain bikers and ATV enthusiasts. The trail offers views of Round Valley and Long Valley, passes through forests and meadows and ends near East Mountain Lookout. For most of its length, the trail overlaps a ridge, but occasionally decends to the ridges west side.

Overall, East Mountain Way is the 9th most popular dirt bike trail of all 53 dirt biking rides in Idaho.
