East Fork Hayden Creek Trail For Dirt Biking

South of Salmon and northwest of Leadore in the Salmon-Challis National Forest, the East Fork Hayden Creek Trail (#6181) is a 6.6 mile route ranging from 7,400 feet to 8,800. This is a scenic trail along the East Fork of Hayden Creek traveling up and over talus ridge into Mill Lake.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead from SR28 just north of Lemhi, head southwest on Hayden Creek Road for roughly 10 miles. Turn east on FS010 for about 3.3 miles to the trailhead.

Note: Motorized vehicles are allowed to just before the talus crossing over to Mill Lake.

Overall, East Fork Hayden Creek Trail is the 35th most popular dirt bike trail of all 52 dirt biking rides in Idaho.
