Redbird Crest Trail Dirt Biking

East of London near Big Creek in the Daniel Boone National Forest, the Redbird Crest Trail is a 65-mile loop trail. The multiple-use route is shared by hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, ATV riders and off-road motorcyclers. The loop begins and ends near the Redbird District Office. The trail generally follows the ridgetops, with some portions being quite steep and rough. Some areas are so narrow that ATVs are not allowed and must take a road by-pass. The trail is marked with green-painted, diamond-shaped blazes spaced no further than 1/10 of a mile. Trail symbols are used at road intersections and as a reminder. Orange diamonds are currently being added to mark the trail for ATV use (This route is suitable for ATVs less than 50 wide). Intersecting trails will be identified with signs.

The route begins and ends at the Redbird District Office, about 20 miles east of London.
