East of Burlington in Penobscot County, the Duck Lake Trail system is a 30 mile network of shared use roads.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead from Burlington, head east on SR188 (Grand Falls Road). Past Saponac, there is a major intersection - follow Nicatous Stream Road southeast and then it veers north. After about a mile, turn right on unsigned road and continue for 8 miles. Turn left and continue for about a mile to trailhead parking.

Overall, Duck Lake Riding Trail is the 7th most popular dirt bike trail of all 15 dirt biking rides in Maine.
