Near Johannesburg in Otsego County, the North Branch ATV Route is a 26 mile route open to off-road motorcycle trails riding. It connects with the Crapo Creek Trail.

To reach the trailhead from US75, use Exit 270. Turn west towards the town of Waters. Head north on Old US Hwy 27. Go to town of Otsego Lake. From town head 7.2 miles east on CR F38 (Mancelona Rd, then turns to Old State Rd.) Take a right onto Turtle Lake Rd. Look for parking on left after .1 mile.

Overall, North Branch ATV Route is the 45th most popular dirt bike trail of all 63 dirt biking rides in Michigan.
