Bethel ATV Trail Dirt Biking

North of Biloxi and east of Saucier in the DeSoto National Forest, the Bethal ATV Trail is a sandy 38 mile route rolling through gentle hills and slash pines that is open to dirt biking. This trail is not to be confused with the Bethel Bike Trail.

The Bethel dirt bike trail is located in the Red Creek Wildlife Management Area, about 12 miles to the east of SR49 and about 25 miles north of Gulfport, MS.

To reach the dirt biking trailhead for the Bethel Trail, take SR49 to Saucier. Head east on SR67 to a four-way stop. Continue east on County Road 402 (Bethal Road) for about five miles. Turn left (north) on Marvin Williams Road and go about 1.5 miles. Turn Right (east) onto Forest Service Road 417A. Stop and sign in, then continue on for about 2 miles to trail head.

There is primative camping available and riding is permitted from dawn to dusk. During hunting season (October - January), off-road motorcycle trails riding is only allowed on Sundays.
