Southwest of Watkins, the Rocky Roost area has 4 miles of off-road motorcycle trails over 100 acres. There are wooded trails for beginners through experts. Plus, there is a 1.25 mile track.
To reach the trailhead from US86, use Exit 42. Head north on CR26 (Meads Creek Road). In Meads Creek, veer right on CR16 to Monterey. The trailhead is near CR16 and CR22.
To reach the trailhead from Watkins Glen, follow SR414 to the traffic light. Turn right. Follow for 10 miles. The trailhead is located about 7 miles past the Watkins Glen Raceway.
Open weekends, and by reservation, weekdays.
